COCOA BEAR
All About This Color:
The cocoa bear is soft, snugly, and keeps you safe from the boogie monster. Just a fair warning, however, this warm and rich brown color makes people want to snuggle up close to you.

The Bottom Line:
Matte reddish brown

MOCHA
All About This Color:
I'm not sure what I love more: coffee or makeup. So here's the best of both worlds: an eyeshadow that reminds me of coffee. Rich, strong, and perks me up in the morning.

The Bottom Line:
Deep matte brown

Product Experience:
The eye shadows I bought come in a refill pan you get 1.8 g 0.064 oz of product for $5.99 USD  You can purchase the eyeshadow in a compact form or refill pan. The compact form cost an extra dollar more at $7.99 USD.
I bought the colors, Mocha and Cocoa Bear. I'm trying to build a collection of neutral colors that's not on the cool side. I own the naked palette by Urban Decay but I find that the darker shades on this palette is way to cool for my skin tone. I need to supplement it with other colors.
Make up geek eye shadows come in 67 different shades and finishes. Marlena has set aside a 9 shadow starter kit, a starter kit with a z palette, an ultimate eyeshadow kit with z palette and vegan kit with z-palette bundle. Marlena also releases new eye shadow colors and extension sets every season all the eye shadows come in their own pan or compact.

Pros:
  • The texture is nice and smooth, silky without being powdery.
  • The colors are very pigmented and easily build able.
  • Blends easily
  • Inexpensive
  • Has a wide variety of colors to choose from.
  • Has a wide variety of finishes from, matte, satin or shimmery.
  • Eye shadows comes in a compact or refill pan.
Cons:
  • Only available online at the make up geek store.
  • Can only be purchased in refill pans, single compacts, or the starter sets.
The make up geek line is still a budding business even though it just started the quality of the products is excellent at an affordable price.

Eye liner review :NYX studio liquid eyeliner

Hi Everyone

I hope your enjoying the very mild summer weather. Today I will be reviewing the NYX studio liquid eyeliner. Lately I've been loving a bright pop of color on the eyelids. I love that the looks allows me to play with color and still look polish.
packaging

Product claims:

Transform your look in seconds with this super-pigmented eye liner that highlights eyes with an electrifying stroke of color. The fine brush tip allows for precision application, and can be used to create lines of varying thickness. Go subtle or go glam.

ink well and brush

Product experience:

Comes in a tube you get 0.19 fl oz of product for $4.50. I have the color extreme blue. Has a very shimmer bright blue finish. Inkwell type of eyeliner with a very fine bristle brush.

Pros:
  • Very pigmented, vibrant color, what you see in the tube is the color your gonna get
  • Build-able
  • Has a nice very thin, stiff but flexible brush
  • Inexpensive
  • On the website there are 12 colors
  • Does not stain the skin
  • Can be easily taken off with soap and water
  • Available at target and CVS

Cons:
  • Comes in shimmery finish
  • Can be a little messy, the product has a wet formula that easily transfers upon application. It needs a few seconds to set.
  • Does not last very long, this only lasted a couple of hours on a bare eye lid. Does not claim to be a long last product
  • Wears really patchy through out the day.
  • Not recommended for anyone with oily eyelids, or to used at the lower lash line
  • I noticed a lot  of flakes around a my eye area thought the day
  • Needs to be reapplied throughout the day to maintain a nice crisp line
  • In order to for the liner to last you need to prep your eyelids. Depending on your look a primer is a must then set the liner with a corresponding eye shadow and the liner will last without touch ups.
liner without primer

I like this product because of the nice cobalt blue color. It does need some work getting the product to last but I think it's worth it.
