Eye liner review :NYX studio liquid eyeliner

Hi Everyone

I hope your enjoying the very mild summer weather. Today I will be reviewing the NYX studio liquid eyeliner. Lately I've been loving a bright pop of color on the eyelids. I love that the looks allows me to play with color and still look polish.

Product experience:

Comes in a tube you get 0.19 fl oz of product for $4.50. I have the color extreme blue. Has a very shimmer bright blue finish. Inkwell type of eyeliner with a very fine bristle brush.

Pros:
  • Very pigmented, vibrant color, what you see in the tube is the color your gonna get
  • Build-able
  • Has a nice very thin, stiff but flexible brush
  • Inexpensive
  • On the website there are 12 colors
  • Does not stain the skin
  • Can be easily taken off with soap and water
  • Available at target and CVS

Cons:
  • Comes in shimmery finish
  • Can be a little messy, the product has a wet formula that easily transfers upon application. It needs a few seconds to set.
  • Does not last very long, this only lasted a couple of hours on a bare eye lid. Does not claim to be a long last product
  • Wears really patchy through out the day.
  • Not recommended for anyone with oily eyelids, or to used at the lower lash line
  • I noticed a lot  of flakes around a my eye area thought the day
  • Needs to be reapplied throughout the day to maintain a nice crisp line
  • In order to for the liner to last you need to prep your eyelids. Depending on your look a primer is a must then set the liner with a corresponding eye shadow and the liner will last without touch ups.
liner without primer

I like this product because of the nice cobalt blue color. It does need some work getting the product to last but I think it's worth it.
