website review: YESSTYLE.COM

Hi everyone,

How are you today? I hope your enjoying the warm So Cal weather. I have signed up with yesstyle.com I heard about this website through frmheadtotoe who is a makeup/beauty guru on YouTube. She bought a Japanese skincare product from this website. Like I said on the previous blogs I'm also looking for good Asian skin care and make up products. Mostly I'm looking for sample packs to try. Asian beauty products are on the expensive side and I want to make sure that I don't have bad reaction from the products and waste money on a something I can't use.

How to sign-up
Signing up is relatively easy and fast. It's pretty much the same for any website. It's free to sign up and you also gain beauty points as you purchase items. Beauty points are purchase points that you gain at any purchase, you get some freebies and more discounts. So to sign up just go to yesstyle.com and click on the link sign up. It will ask for basic info like email address, name, home and mailing address etc. Wait for a reply email from the website and start shopping.

Products and then some
Yesstyle.com sells a lot of items on their the website. They have women's cloths, shoes, make up and beauty products. Yesstyle focus mostly on Asian products from Japanese to Korean and even some European skin care and make up. I signed up to this site mostly because I wanted to try Japanese skin care. I'm also looking for a good bargain price for a really good exfoliant called Cure. So far I have only seen this brand in two websites. Yesstyle.com is the only one that has sample packs that you can purchase but the full size product is still a little expensive.
The product is from mid-range to high end products. They have the popular brands such as clinique, lamer, khiels, clarins etc. There is a good variety of brands to choose from.

Prices
Most of the products here start at $10 to a few hundred dollars depending on brand and the kit. Price wise this site is not the most competitive sometimes this website can be more expensive. I think for brands that is available here in the US such as Biore, Neutrogena, Clinique, skin food etc I will find a cheaper price here in So Cal. But I find I want to try their products as well because most of the product is geared towards Asian market. So the products tend to be different in formulation and certain products are available only in Asia. Also some of the European drugstore/highstreet brand like Bourjois are expensive. So you really have to do your research that way you don't spend too much on an items that supposedly be inexpensive.

Promos
Right now they have a promo where if you purchase $59 or more you get a sample of lenaige products. I think they will also ship any items for free if you spend $75 to $149.99.

My haul
Bourjois micelles cleansing water, Cure natural aqua gel packs 3g 5 pieces, Avene clean-AC hydrating soothing adjunctive care (for blemish prone sensitive skin)stylus as a free gift.

Shipping, other fees and headaches
The shipping rate for the US is a flat rate USD $9.99 for any purchases under $150 and anything over USD $150 shipping is free.
Shipping here is on the slow side, they will not ship your order unless everything is available. They don't ship items separately like other websites. They also have some shipping limitations. They will not ship certain products in Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia and Russian Federation.
I also encountered another issue, my shipping was delayed because of a clearance issue. I didn't realize that my purchases would be coming from Hongkong. My purchases was stuck at customs for 4 days waiting for the clearance. FedEx even went as far as to contact me regarding my my shipment to obtain necessary information. I had to contact customer service from yesstyle so they could forward the information that was needed.
If your from the US you might get hit by a charge called a yesstyle conventy charge it's $1.89 for international transaction fee. Just a head's up for those who are interested in signing up. Your charges will not reflect until yesstyle ships you products so bear that in mind if your making any purchases that is on order.
Weeks after recieving my purchases that I get hit but a very incovinient duty tax. I was being charge $20 by FedEx because I purchased items abroad. So beware if you purchasing any items online

Customer Service, product return policy
Unfortunately yesstyle does not have the greatest refund/exchange policy.First you have contact costumer service for any return or exchanges. For clothing and beauty products I think you can return them with in 14 days. Jewelry can only returned for repairs if the item is defective. You will be charged the shipping for returns.
I had to contact customer service because of the some clearance issue with my shipment. I would say customer service acted promptly. I sent them an email in the afternoon, I figure there would be a time difference so over night I recieved 2 emails from yesstyle. One from customer service letting me know they recieved my complaint and the second email coming from logistics. All in all I was happy with customer service and prompt reply and and prompt action but I think this could have been prevented if the packaging information was properly done.

As much as I liked the products I have purchased I think this will be the last time I will purchase from yesstyle. I have been shopping online for a long time and had never had some issue for any purchases. Even after you have recieved your purchases your will still have other headaches.

my purchases from yesstyle, I'm excited to use the Cure agua gels

Product review: loreal youthcode dark spot eliminating skin care

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday!!! I hope your having a woderfull start to your weekend. I know most of us is plague by dark spots, sun spots and just a dull complexion. There are so many face cream and skin care system that claims to be able to remove them. I have tried Neutrogena line a few years ago and I was happy with the results. I can't find that line of products from Neutrogena so I decided I will try the new L'oreal line of skin brighteners. I happen to read an article in a magazine and the editor recommend this brand.
I bought mine from target, I think for $24 for the set, which includes am/pm serum and the moisturizer with SPF 30. Target was having a sale that week, I was at another drugstore earlier that day they were selling the same product for $30. It's worth checking out Target if there is a store near you.

Product claims:

Serum
Restore luminosity and fight discoloration with youth code dark spot correcting and illuminating serum corrector. This clinically proven dual brightening formula illuminates skin tone and corrects dark spots for a more even, radiant and youthful complexion.
Serum Corrector Daily Treatment Fades dark spots see even luminous skin emerge

Moisturizer
Prevents future discolorations from forming
Protects skin from sun's UV rays
Contains SPF 30
Prevents dark spots and visibly even all skin tones. It prevents future discolorations from forming. It also protects skin from sun's UV rays.

Product experience:
The serum comes in a double lined plastic bottle with a pump. The pump has a dial so you can switch the nozel open or close. It's great for travel since you won't have to struggle with pump and accidentally spilling your serum. You get 1.0 fl oz of the product. After cleansing my face and spot treating my blemishes. I just use one pump of this serum and spread it across my face neck. Let it dry and follow on with my usual routine.

The moisturizer with SPF 30, I use as the last item I use of my face. It comes in double lined plastic tub with a screw cap and a little inner lid to protect the product from evaporating. You get 3 fl oz. I noticed this moisturizer is very very thick, you just take a little bit and dot it around your face and massage it in. I find that this moisturizer to be light on my skin even though it has a thick consistency. Also the moisturizer blends easily and melts into my skin. I don't have dry tight patches on my face. It does make me greasy by mid-day but nothing too bad that I can't deal with some blotting paper and powder.

The product does work, I saw noticeable decrease in the appearance of my sun spot while using this brand, but it's not as good on really dark hyper-pigmentation caused by pimples. It will brighten them a bit but not to a point where you can't see it.
Also if you have acne don't use this product, for some reason the ingredients in serum counter act the effects of your acne medication. Your acne will stay there for a good 2 weeks, I had to stop using the serum because my acne medications just wouldn't work. I used my face mask to dry out my acne and my tamanu oil to combat inflammation. Now that I stopped using the serum my acne is starting to slowly dry and heal.

Pros:
The moisturizer has an SPF of 30
A nice solid packaging that protects the product.
Nice thick consistency
Very hydrating

The serum is dispensed with a pump.
Has a nice scent
Absorbed quickly

travel friendly
Available at most drugstores, CVS, Walgreens, Rite aide. Target maybe Walmart.
Cheap I got my set for of the serum and moisturizer for $24 at Target.

Cons:
The moisturizer comes in a pot, I don't mind dipping my finger in there but I know some of might not like the idea.
I didn't see any notice any difference with the luminosity of my skin.
The moisturizer is leaving me a little greasy, nothing too bad.

The serum's plastic bottle is opaque you can't see through it, so you really don't know how much product you have left.
Can't be used with your acne medication, if you have acne stop using the serum. Your acne will not heal while your using the serum even if your piling on your usual acne medications.

It's a decent product especially for a drugstore brand but not the best. You can't use the serum with your acne medication. Out of the two I highly recommend the moisturizer with because of the sun protection if provides, it might make you greasy but it's something that can be dealt with.
Box
one pump of the serum

the bottle of serum

the sample of the moisturizer

the tub of moisturizer with the two caps

Product review: Bath and Body True Blue mini face scrub and face mask

Hi everyone,
I hope you having a wonderful day. Today I will be reviewing some bath and body products. Bath and body had a special I got this sample sizes 3 for $10 from the True Blue line. I love the foot spa cleanser and shea butter foot lotion from this line.

Product claims:

Purifying peel off face mask

Black berry
Formulated with blackberry known for it's super antioxidant properties and tea tree oil know for it's purifying powers. This chic black face mask instantly peels away pore clogging dirt oil and debris to help keep your skin looking and feeling flawless.

Product experience
I used the scrubs in the morning and the mask a night when I have a little bit more time. I find the scrub has a nice thick consistency with a very nice scent to it and almost thought to be a hydrating scrub. There are a huge amount beads in each scrub so be gentle when using this. I was very disappointed with all 3 products. The cleanser felt good on my skin but it stripped my skin of it's natural moisture leaving it tight and dry after washing. The peel of mask I feel didn't do anything for me at all.

Pros:
Smells nice
Product is nice a thick and easy to apply and work with the exception of the peel off mask.
Easily available at any bath and body store or website.
Cheap there is usually a sale I think I got my samples for 3 for $10 normally they sell for $ 6 each.
I like the squeeze tube for dispensing product.

Cons:
Left my skin very dry and feeling tight.
The mask stung my skin as it dried
Some of beads can be sharp

This product is very cheap and bath and body has a lot of good sale but for this scrubs and face mask I will skip. It is not the value for your money. I still like bath and body just not this particular products
from top to bottom
apricot scrub, citrus scrub and peel off mask

Hautelook.com review

Hi everyone

I hope your doing well today I will be reviewing another website. This one is called hautelook.com I found out about this site through another youtube guru bentlyblonde. She is known for this massive hauls and her crap products that is hilarious and amusing and her lovable shiba Inuit Kissu.

What is hautelook.com
It's is a membership website that sells massively discount products. They sell a variety of items from women's, men's and children's cloths, shoes, accessories, jewelries, make up product and skin care. From high end brands such as Betsey Johnson, lucky brand jeans, urban decay and a lot more. They also carry home furnishings and you can even book a trip at this website. They're items on sale is different brands different items each day, you will get email notifications what is available on sale that day. I check everyday first thing in the morning. Why because I noticed a lot of items have sold out by mid-day and they're the ones I have been wanting and eyeing from sephora, Macy's or Nordstroms.

How to sign up
It is easy to sign up for hautelook, it's the same as any website. They have you sign up in a form with typical information such as name, mailing and home address, telephone number, email address and credit card information. You don't need an invitation of any sort from members and there is no fees to sign up. Then shop away place items on your cart check out and you will receive an email notification of your purchase.

Sizing, shipping and returns
I have mostly bought a lot of cloths, jewelries and shoes from this site. They have a size guide on the side and they also give basic information about the model who is wearing the items. Information like height, bust, waist and hip size and they will give you what size he/she is wearing. So you can make an informed decision with sizes and I have been buying cloths online so I have an idea what size I need for a certain cut of cloths. Even with that I still need to return items every now and then.
There are certain items that is not returnable, items like makeup and skin care, or any product that can be used up.
Shipping they have ground and expedited shipping, I always choose ground shipping since it's cheaper and I don't think expedite will make any difference since your still waiting for hautelook to notify the company.
Emails, notifications and other things They will ship your items separately if one item is still unavailable without extra charges. You will receive email notification if your product has shipped.

There are a few annoying things about this website.
First is the sale is only good for 2 days after that you would have to wait till the end of the week which is Sunday for their blow out sale with limited size and non-returnable.
Secondly items that is placed on your cart will expire in 15 min. Which sucks because I like to browse around. It takes more than 15 min to go through each brand and skim. You can add the items back in the cart but it's such as hassle because I have to constantly rush and check if any items in my cart has expired.5 I understand there is a limited time and quantity of products and they want to give everyone a fair chance but 15 min is not enough.
Thirdly shipping is soo slow, I do mean slow. It takes a couple of weeks for any item that I purchase before it arrives to my place. There's this whole thing were they have to contact the seller and wait till the seller ships the items to them and then they will ship it to you. This is not the place to purchase an item you need in a week.
Fourth they take out your purchase charge right away. I mean with in the same hour you will notice your card will have a charge from hautelook and they still ship your stuff super slow.
Fifth returns is such a big hassle, they give you two options. The first option is to return an item and get a money refund but they charge you $5 for that service. Option number 2 is you get a hautelook credit instead of cash. Which is annoying I paid in cash through my debit card or credit card. I feel I need to be reimbursed the same way.
Also you get charged tax when you purchase anything here tax is at 8.75%

I know this site takes getting use too with all it's quirks but nothing beats the fact you can buy high end products prices that won't break your wallet. Without membership fees and other ridiculous rules. I will say that the shipping is the most annoying thing but I got over it and is looking forward to the items that I have purchased.

It's time for a haul

Hi Everyone,

I hope your having a wonderful day this will be my first haul. This haul is an accumulation of my shopping trip from Target, Marukai, CVS and Yesstyle.com. I think I have bought enough stuff to consider a haul but not a lot to make it super long and boring.

I was at target the other day and just browsing around. I decided to give ELF brand a try again. I heard so many good reviews about their face products so I decided to get a few items.
In the past I bought a set from the essential lind. The set included eye shadows, eyeliner and eyeshadow primer from elf and I must say I was disappointed with the product. The eye shadows were powdery. I had a hard time packing on the color and eyeshadow was just everywhere, it was just a huge mess. The eyeliner was hard and tugged on my eyelid and primer was decent.

So I bought a bunch of stuff from ELF studio line, this is the pro line of ELF and everything cost $3 and they are the one in black packaging. Which is reminiscent of Nars packing.I got the Translucent matifying powder, contouring and bronzing powder, the under eye concealer and highligther, and two studio blushes.

I also bought the Rimmel the max volume flash mascara I always buy mascara just to test them out and figure out what works for me. I'm currently using a L'oreal mascara and Maybeline XXL mascara. I also bought Milani's liquif eye metallic eyeliner in brown 05, eye tech extreme liquid liner in blackest black, Milani duo sharpener with cover. I caved and bought one of the Milani baked blushes in coralina. Physicians formula shimmer strips in the colors Nude eyes, L'oreal magic lumi concealer. Lastly I bought the Soho brand crease brush, I must say this brush is super expensive for a drugstore brand. CVS gives you coupon to use with certain items and this brush retails for $19 but I got it for $9.99

I bought some hair products, I bought some shampoo, conditioner and hair mask my Shea moisture. My husband uses the face and body scrub and he loves it. I figure why not try this brand. I'm almost out of my Argan oil infused hair and conditioner.

I went to marukai and bought some stuff the barrier serum and pore cream. From yesstyle.com I purchased a sample pack of cure aqua gel, Bourjois cleansing water and avene clean-ac moisturizer.

Eventually I will have a review of all the products I have purchased it will take me some time at least 2 to 3 months depends on how often I use them and if I get any kind of reaction from the products. That's about it if you have any questions just leave a comment below and I will try and answer them for you.

Imomoko.com website review

Hi everyone,

I hope everything is going well with you today I will review a website. It is called imomoko.com. What it is a website that sells Asian and some European beauty products. From make up, men and women's skin care etc they have a wide variety of items that they sell. Also a wide variety of brands to choose from.

Signing up is rather easy, if you have signed up for an account on popular sites such as amazon, target etc it's pretty much the same. You just type in your personal information such as name, mailing address, home phone number, credit card info and email address. They will send you a confirmation email and that's it. Your signed up and you will receive monthly emails about new products and sale.

This site is great if you are interested in trying out Asian beauty products. I bought my first set of BB creams from this site, I bought 2 sets of sample size by legere and skin 79. Each sample size cost between 17 and 20 US dollars. It's great because you get 3 or 4 samples of different BB creams from a popular brands for the price of one full size. I know there are a lot of website that mainly sell Japanese product doesn't sell enough sample products.

Shipping is fast even for ground delivery. Just like any Japanese website they give you some sample products to try.

I only have one issue with this website, that is I don't recieve notification that they have recieved my order and a notification that the order has been shipped. You have to access your account and go to your recent orders to check for your orders and shipment date and tracking number. I still love that their shipping is the fast I have placed an order on friday night and come monday my shipment has been recieved.
