LIP product review: NYC Smooch proof lip stain

Hi Everyone,

I hope your having a wonderful day today, I will be reviewing the NYC smooch proof lip stain 16 hrs.I like to use light products from face make up, eye make up and even on my lips. I like a very natural look very low maintenance. I don't like to keep reapplying certain products on my face.

Today I picked up a bunch of Lip tints from the brand NYC, I believe these cost me around $3 each. I'm a big fan of lip tints, I love the urban decay and stila lip tints. I love the natural look it gives me and I don't have to worry about reapplying the product.

I bought the color,494 smooch proof and 493 champagne stain. In hoping that the color would be a good dupe for the expensive Urban decay and stila lip tints. When you get your NYC lip tints. It comes in a pen style form, you just basically draw on your lips. Lip tints has a nice color dries rather quickly but doesn't have that staying power like the UD or Stila. for $3 I guess its okay, but there are other drugstore lip tints that are much better, more pigmented and last a lot longer.

SKIN CARE product review: JOSIE MARAN ARGAN DAILY MOISTURIZER WITH SPF 40

Hi everyone,

I hope your having a nice week, today I will be reviewing for you the Josie Maran argan daily moisturizer with SPF 40. I got this moisturizer as a part of my Christmas gift. My cousin got me a sample size for Christmas.I asked for a sample size to be able to try the product without fully committing to a full size product. This way I won't be wasting money in the event that I don't like the product or I have a bad reaction to the product.

Sample bottle

Product claims:
Argan Oil Daily Moisturizer with SPF 40+ is your skins first defense against premature aging. This natural formula physically blocks UVA rays that can cause up to 80% of premature ageing. It also blocks the harmful UVB rays we encounter on sunny days or at the beach. Unlike traditional sun blocks, this natural formula is infused with Josie's signature ingredient, Argan Oil, which repairs and reverses damage caused by the sun, fights signs of aging and improves skin tone for a radiant, renewed complexion. This sun block is extra mild and fast absorbing. It can also double as a great makeup primer. Argan Oil Daily Moisturizer with SPF 40+ is lightweight, Paba Free, and for all skin types.

moisturizer

Product experience:
The moisturizer comes in a dark colored glass bottle with a pump. After I am finished with my morning skin care routine. You have to shake the product, it settles at the bottom and just dot this all over your face and blend it in. This product has a nice sweet but fruity scent and goes on really well. It's not very thick like most moisturizer but the consistency is just right.

Pros:
Comes in a pump.
Has SPF 40 and broad spectrum protection
Goes on smoothly, blends easily
Infused with Argan oil.
Has a nice scent.

Cons:
Not very hydrating, I just feel that this moisturizer blends well but just sits on top of my skin. I still had areas on my face where my skin felt dry and tight.
Very expensive this sample size cost $14 for 15 ml or .5fl oz, $32 for 60 ml or 2 oz bottle.
Left me looking like a grease ball after a few hours of application.
The product settles in the bottom so you need to mix it up again by shaking the bottle.

I was very disappointed with this product. I had such high hope that this will be my holy grail for moisturizer, because it's a combo of argan oil and broad spectrum sun protection. I have been looking for a combination like this and unfortunately this product didn't work for me.

Hi everyone,

I have tried different drugstore brands such Aveeno, Nivea etc some worked, some well they just made me greasy. I tried Sheaterraorganics body creme because bentlyblonde a makeup and beauty guru raved and reviewed this product. It's all natural and organic product.

Product experience:
The shea body butter creme comes in a heavy glass jar with a twist cap. It has 9 oz of product for $22. What I do after I shower while my skin is still moist I just take a small amount rub it between my palms and just spread it everywhere. This product does not smell of rose oil like the face mask/scrub. It just has a nice fresh clean smell.

Pros:
All organic and natural contains 30% Shea butter and is super moisturizing keeps my skin soft and smooth even for days.
Has a clean fresh scent nothing cloying or overwhelming.
Comes in many different scents/flavors.

Cons:
Does not spread easily, or maybe it's just my super dry skin when I use this I have to work quickly and my skin has to be damp for it spread evenly and easily.
Expensive, you need a lot of product to cover your arms and legs
Can only be purchase online at sheaterraorganics

I love that this product is very potent it leaves my skin very silky and smells very fresh. But its just too expensive and you have to work extra hard to spread on to your skin. Or it's just my skin that's extra dry and it just soaks up quickly.

Beauty haul from the Philippines

Hi Everyone,

I hope your doing well, so this is what I manage to snag/shop while I was on vacation on the beautiful island of the Philippines. I wanted to do more shopping but wasn't able to because of bad timing. The it's monsoon and typhoon season there and it's always raining. Anyway I tried to purchase some local products and was given a few local hand made soaps as well. Here are the stuff I managed to bring with me and caused to be close to be over weight with my luggage.

Add caption
Poppy plush soap from V & M naturals
Ponds white beauty detox lotion
Ponds white beauty pinkish white lightening lotion
Etude house Black Head Remover Dual Sheet
Etude house Greentea Nose pack
Etude house face mask
Etude house happy essential foam with hyaluronic acid
Etude house skin Mal:gam facial mask sheets
Laneige water sleeping pack face cream (sample)
Khiel's Ultra facial oil-free gel cream(sample)
Tony Moly Lovely peach hand mask

Ilog Maria hand made soaps
Tony Moly 3 point eye brown pen
I wish I was able to do more shopping for face products more towards the local brand but I tried a few and I wasn't impressed with the local brands I tried. Korean brand make up and skin care is starting to become popular and stores are starting to pop up around the malls. I brought my own make up that I didn't bother using the weather was hot and humid and I didn't feel like piling on more stuff on my skin. I made sure I have on a moisturizer and sunscreen combo and that's it. I didn't get sunburned or get any breakouts while in the Philippines even though I was washing twice a day that can dry out skin.
I will give you guys a review soon on how some of this products worked for me. If you have any questions just leave a comment and I will answer your questions as soon as I can.

HAIR CARE product review: kimble hair SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER

Hi everyone,

I'm back and will start posting product reviews. I bought some beauty products while vacationing in the Philippines but I didn't get to buy a lot. I close to being over weight so it's a good thing I didn't shop like crazy.
Today I will be reviewing new hair shampoo brand that I found at Target. It's the Kimble hair shampoo and conditioner.

I needed a new shampoo and conditioner for my vacation. I have been using sulphate free shampoo and conditioner and I like the results it gives me. I needed something smaller and will not weigh my luggage even more. I thought of decanting my Shea moisture shampoo and conditioner but decided against it.

Initial reaction
The shampoo is very runny and typical of any sulphate free shampoo this doesn't later up very much. It has a vanilla scent even though it says acai berry scent.
The conditioner is very thick and I noticed some granules. When I say thick I mean that the conditioner holds it shape even after squeezing it out of the bottle.

I like this product very much it's just has a weird smell. I was expecting a fruity scent but I got a vanilla scent. I can deal with it I think the best is the conditioner which is super thick.
The packaging is okay, for the shampoo is not very good. The cap doesn't lock into place or maybe I just happen to buy a bad one.I like squeeze tube for the conditioner.

I brought this with me on my trip I made special precaution by wrapping the lid of the bottle with tape and placing the shampoo and conditioner in Ziploc bags. I still had a mess from the shampoo but the Ziploc bag contained the mess. While in the island we shampooed and washed at least twice a day to combat the sticky feeling and the constant sweating. This shampoo and conditioner didn't dry out my hair.
The shampoo cost $10 for 8.5 fl oz and &12 for the conditioner for 8.5 fl oz. available at your local Target.
If you have any comments

I'm back

Hi Everyone,

I hope y'all doing fairly well, I'm back in So Cal and will start posting reviews very soon. I went on a 2 week vacation with the hubby even though we didn't get to do a lot we got stuck in a island and a lot of monsoon rain. It was a nice relaxing vacation for us. We got to hang out with my family whom I haven't seen in a very long time. My nephews and nieces have all grown up. Sigh time moves rather fast when your away. I wish I could've stayed with them but I had to come back here.
I didn't get the chance to buy a lot of local make up and skin care. We were close to being over weight with our luggage. I did manage to buy a few things and Korean skin care and make up is quite popular. Lenaige and étude house and khiels has stores and I manage to snag some samples.
I will talk to you guys soon and I will post pictures and my haul soon.
